Following voter approval of a revised Road Millage in 2016, the Village has been preparing for the paving of Peters Rd. during the 2020 construction season.
At its March 16, 2020 meeting, Village Council approved the construction contract with Artisan Contracting of Michigan, with work tentatively scheduled to begin the week of May 4, 2020. Most of the construction is expected to be completed by early August 2020.
During construction, the road will remain closed to through traffic, though access for residents and Janowski Field will be maintained. As part of the project W. Liberty St. and Leverett St. will also be paved.
On Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., the Village, OHM Advisors, and Artisan Contracting will host a virtual meeting for Peters Rd. corridor residents regarding the project. Please register for the open house by using the link below.
