A playscape structure was constructed in 1997 by a determined group of area residents who raised the entire $100,000 necessary to see the project become a reality. After completion of the structure, the Village assumed responsibility for the daily maintenance required by this well-used play area.
The tennis court is located on the upper level of the park, away from the bustle of the playscape. The two basketball courts are located on the lower level, near the sand volleyball courts.
The pavilion can be reserved for private events. There is no charge for Village residents to use the pavilion unless electricity is needed, in which case there is a fee of $25.00. The fee for non-residents is $50, plus the cost for electricity if needed. No alcohol is allowed, and the user is responsible for clean-up.
