Planning Commission

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Heidt at 6:45 p.m. A quorum was present.

NEW BUSINESS

 

Elect Planning Commission Secretary

 

Chairman Heidt explained that because of the changes made to the Michigan Planning Enabling Act of 2008, it is necessary for Planning Commission to elect a Secretary.

 

Mr. Lomako stated that the Secretary of Planning Commission on a very infrequent basis would be responsible to distribute copies of a draft Master Plan to adjoining communities when necessary as well as signing any resolutions to adopt a Master Plan. Other responsibilities may include composing letters as directed by Planning Commission.

 

PC-09-008 Johnston moved, Juidici seconded, to elect Gary Goodenow as Planning Commission Secretary for the remainder of the 2008 – 2009 year. Motion CARRIED
