Terri Rusas has been a Milford Village resident since 1991. She moved to the Huron Valley area with her parents in 1974 and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1979. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Lawrence Technological University where she majored in accounting and finance.
Rusas was first elected to the Milford Village Council in 1999. She currently works with the Capital Improvements Committee and the Powerhouse Restoration Committee. Prior to her election, Rusas was invited by then Village Council president, Chris Smith, to work with the Capital Improvements Committee to help draft the major road millage that was passed in 1999. Rusas' community involvement includes 7 years as a Girl Scout leader and 2 years as the Service Unit Manager for Baker Elementary Girl Scouts. She also founded and served for 5 years as an officer for the Parent’s Association of her daughters’ dance team.
Rusas was elected Council President September 15, 2009
