Terri Rusas-George has been a Milford Village resident since 1991. She moved to the Huron Valley area with her parents in 1974 and graduated from Lakeland High School in 1979. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Lawrence Technological University where she majored in accounting and finance.
Rusas-George was first elected to the Milford Village Council in 1999. She currently works with the Capital Improvements Committee and the Powerhouse Restoration Committee. Prior to her election, Rusas-George was invited by then Village Council president, Chris Smith, to work with the Capital Improvements Committee to help draft the major road millage that was passed in 1999. Rusas-George's community involvement includes 7 years as a Girl Scout leader and 2 years as the Service Unit Manager for Baker Elementary Girl Scouts. She also founded and served for 5 years as an officer for the Parent’s Association of her daughters’ dance team.
