Elizabeth Heer has served Milford as Village Councilmember since 2003. As Councilmember, she has represented Milford at Michigan Municipal League conferences, and is a member of the state-wide Legislative and Urban Affairs Committee. She is a member of the Village’s Capital Improvement Committee.
Elizabeth has served as a Village Liaison to the Milford Senior Center Board.
Previous experience includes serving on the Milford Parks and Recreation Commission for six years including three years as Chairperson, and two years as Vice Chair. She co-authored the Master Plan for Parks and Recreation in 1999. Committees she has served on include the Milford Downtown Corridor Plan Committee; Village Strategic Planning Committee; Hubbell Pond Park Advisory Committee; Riverbend Playscape Steering Committee; and numerous Huron Valley School District committees and boards. Elizabeth was a board member of Friends of the Milford Public Library, and was a charter board member of the Village Fine Arts Association.
Elizabeth earned a Masters and Bachelor degree in Education. She currently works as District Sales Coordinator for Ajilon Consulting in Southfield. Previously, Elizabeth was Communications Manager for the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, and a small business owner. A 35 year resident of Milford, she and her husband have three children and three grandchildren.
