| | Historical Society | | | The Milford Historical Society was founded in 1973. Some of their accomplishments include establishing a museum and a research and archives room, as well as publishing the book Ten Minutes Ahead of the Rest of the World - A History of Milford.
Milford Historical Society's successful nomination of the North Milford Village Historic District was entered in the National Register of Historic Places on April 21, 2000. Over 82% of the buildings in North Milford Village Historic District contribute to the district's historical, cultural, and architectural significance.
