Solid Waste Disposal

Household Hazardous Waste Day
Solid waste collection in the Village of Milford is weekly via a contractual arrangement with Waste Management of Michigan. Compactors are placed in the downtown area for use by businesses and emptied three times a week. Curbside collection of recyclables and compost materials are included in the service contract with Waste Management of Michigan.

Trash containers throughout the downtown business district, parking lots, ball fields and community parks are emptied three times per week by D.P.S. staff. The D.P.S. also assists with the Village/Township household hazardous waste collection day held each year in May.
