President Nader called the meeting to order in the Milford Civic Center at 7:32 p.m. President Nader led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Allocate 2009 Tri-Party Funds
CM-12-212-08 Rusas moved, Glagola seconded, to Approve North Milford Road paving as the Village of Milford 2009 Tri-Party project. Motion CARRIED
Approve WWTP Vehicle Purchase
CM-12-213-08 Rusas moved, Kovach seconded, to waive the normal bidding procedures, and approve the purchase of one 2009 GMC Serria HD2500 pick truck package through Oakland County Cooperative Purchasing Program at the price of $25,959.00 with the accessories not-to-exceed a total price of $32,000.00. Funds are allocated in account # 592-535-982. Motion CARRIED
Appoint Niebauer to fill BRA Vacancy – Term to Expire 6/09
CM-12-214-08 Kovach moved, Rusas seconded, to appoint Thomas Niebauer to fill the BRA vacancy. Term expires 6/09. Motion CARRIED
Appoint Heyn to fill BRA Vacancy – Term to Expire 6/10
CM-12-215-08 Kovach moved, Rusas seconded, to appoint Jeffrey Heyn to fill the BRA vacancy. Term expires 6/10. Motion CARRIED
Appoint Stith to fill Beautification Vacancy – Term to Expire 6/11
CM-12-216-08 Rusas moved, Kovach seconded, to appoint Gail Stith to fill the Beautification vacancy. Term expires 6/11. Motion CARRIED
Determine Clerk Position Structure and Salary Range
No action was taken at this time.
CM-12-218-08 Rusas moved, Kovach seconded, to set a Public Hearing for 1/20/09 to consider changes to the Village election schedule. Motion CARRIED
A subcommittee was formed to review the applications for Clerk and to present candidates for Council to interview. The subcommittee will consist of Thomas Nader, Terri Rusas, James Kovach, Arthur Shufflebarger and Ann Collins. Kevin Ziegler and Mike Glagola were appointed as alternates.
CALL TO THE PUBLIC
Nader asked if there was anyone who wished to address Council on an item that was not on the agenda.

MANAGER’S REPORT
Shufflebarger reported that the railings for Peters Road Bridge have been manufactured, shipped and should be installed this week.
