RE Unpaid Invoices Turnover to Taxes
Each year the Village places unpaid invoices on the tax roll for collection. The procedure is that a letter is sent from the Clerk’s office advising customers, who are delinquent, of the date this will be going before Council for approval. After Council approves placing these delinquent accounts on the tax roll, we send a second letter notifying customers they have 30 days to pay.
Action Requested: Adopt the following resolution to place these unpaid invoices on the 2011 tax roll.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that all real property parcels appearing on the delinquent invoice list, held by the Clerk for the Village of Milford, dated April 27, 2011, in the amount of $1,032.00, are hereby specifically assessed for arrearages and charges attributable to said parcels on the Village Clerk’s listing; said assessments to be placed on the 2011 Village tax roll.
